A METIS team advised Hannover Finanz on the acquisition of FREEGLASS by way of a carve-out from Saint-Gobain. Hannover Finanz is carrying out the transaction in its new special situations division HF Opportunities (HFO).
FREEGLASS, based in Schwaikheim, Baden-Württemberg, produces three-dimensional plastic components for the automotive industry. Its products include windows and covers, with innovative products that enable the integration of functions and sensors. The company has 120 employees and produces around two million components per year. Turnover is in the double-digit million range.
