METIS has advised Westfalia Fruit International Ltd. on the acquisition of a majority shareholding in Hausladen Fruchthandelsgesellschaft mbH. Westfalia Fruit is a multinational organisation with the largest avocado-growing footprint in the world. It belongs to the Hans Merensky group of companies, renewable bio-resource enterprises with vertically-integrated value chains.
Hausladen Fruchthandelsgesellschaft is a 85 years old family-owned company with own ripening facilities, providing renowned food trading companies with high quality fruit and grocery products.
