To mark the 30th anniversary of the partnership between the State of Hesse and the Chinese provinces of Hunan and Jiangxi, a delegation of the Hessian Ministry of Economics, Energy, Transport and Regional Development has traveled from 31 May to 7 June 2015 to China. Organised in cooperation with Hessen Trade & Invest and FrankfurtRheinMain GmbH, the delegation was accompanied by the Frankfurt lawyer and China expert Dr. Andreas Rasner, who acted as an expert on legal issues.
On 2 June 2015, the delegation participated in the Hunan-Hessen Business Day in Changsha, capital of Hunan province, and two days later in the Jiangxi-Hessen Business Day in Nanchang, capital of Jiangxi province. On these occasions, Rasner spoke to numerous Chinese entrepreneurs about legal issues in connection with a market entry in Germany.
“After mainly companies from China’s coastal regions have made their way to other countries during the past two decades, the international expansion of companies from central China is now in full swing. The economic potential of these regions with megacities like Changsha and Nanchang is breathtaking, “said Dr. Rasner. “The response that our events got in press and television shows the great interest that companies and institutions from these regions have in relation to investments in Germany.“
