METIS Rechtsanwälte LLP has advised the leading provider for event and media technology satis&fy AG on a cross-border business combination with the Swiss-based Habegger Group. Both companies will in the future be operating under the German holding company „Live Matters“. The shares in Live Matters will be held by Nico Ubenauf as CEO of satis&fy, Simon Ackermann as CEO of Habegger and by an industrial holding company which represents well-known German family businesses and entrepreneurs.
With a group turnover of more than 140 Million Euros in 2016 Live Matters is already one of the biggest networks in the industry by now and market leader in the DACH region. 700 permanent employees at 12 branches work for the companies of the Live Matters group. Under the roof of the holding company, both firms want to expand their quality market leadership and grow to one of the international leading businesses for live communication in the long run.
