METIS Rechtsanwälte LLP has advised the shareholder and former CEO of German investment fund provider Hannover Leasing GmbH & Co. KG, Friedrich Wilhelm Patt, on the sale of his participation in Hannover Leasing to real estate investment company Corestate Capital Holding S.A.
Mr. Patt sold his shares in Hannover Leasing to Corestate alongside with other shareholders including the state bank of Hessen-Thüringen (Helaba). Helaba remains a minority shareholder of Hannover Leasing with 5.1 percent. Hannover Leasing sets up and markets alternative investment funds. Since its foundation in 1981 Hannover Leasing has raised approx. 9.9 billion Euro in equity from private and institutional investors.
